Single item BG 1, built by Karl Brands and Werner Ganzlin (in front of the photo) from Düsseldorf and Hilden.
The engine was an ancient Hilz, which was rebuilt several times from the number of cylinders.
The whole building dragged on for several years from around 1924.
Only flown in the Lohausen airport zone, had no registration
Two members of the "Düsseldorfer Aero-Klub" , W.Ganzlin & K.Brands have built a sport aeroplane (Summer 1926 -October 1928)
The first engine was a pre-war old Hilz engine which collapsed very early during the tests .
