50 hp sports aircraft of the Saarbrücken Model and Gliding Club 1921 E. V.
After a year of work, the members of the Saarbrücken Model and Gliding Club created a sports aircraft that proved its airworthiness on Boxing Day during its first 5-minute flight. The fuselage is made of tubular steel, and the wing is covered with 1.5 mm plywood using pine T-spars. The wing has a span of 11 mm and an area of 17 m². The overall length of the aircraft is 6.90 m. The installed 6-cylinder Anzani engine produces 50 hp
and has a propeller with a diameter of 2.20 m. The construction of the aircraft took a considerable amount of time, as the workrooms had to be changed six times, and very often there was no money available for further construction.
