The two-seater Herkules was designed as a school glider and it can be seen as an enlarged Prüfling. The wing is in two parts, built according to the principle of the two spars, classic at that time. It is attached to the fuselage by two pairs of parallel masts, and held by two pairs of equally parallel stays. This assembly proved to be very satisfactory in terms of solidity and drag.
