The Luftwaffe took twenty aircraft at the time of the armistice. They then took all of the G.12 out of the Fiat-Aeritalia factory, that is, 5 aircraft at the end of the year 1943 and 8 in 1944. The American bombing of 24 April 1944 on Aeritalia's facilities destroyed 8 G. 12. The number of G.12 in service in the Luftwaffe increased from February - March 1944 15 to April-May 18 and June-July 21. The Lufthansa received two civilians G.12 which were attributed registrations D-ASVJ and D- ASVH.
