First glider built by Gottlob ESPENLAUB, at his parents' home in Balzholz [near Beuren, south of Kirchheim unter Teck], with which he wanted to participate in the Rhön competition in 1921. But the glider was destroyed during the first launch attempt. "Espe", as he is nicknamed, will receive an encouragement prize of 500 marks from the competition organisers.
