Armament 2 MG 131
Still drawn in 1939. though the remainder of the date is unclear, the P 149 01 appears to show a substantial simplifieationof theP 144 series.with aslightly more practical cockpit glazing arrangement and just two tractor prop engines with a conventional tail to the rear. The reconnaissance cameras are now positioned within the cockpit, presumably to allow the crew easier access to them in flight.and the defensive weaponry is switched to a pair of fuselage mounted MG 131 turiets.reducing the complexity of the P 144s nacelle arrangement
Still further changes to essentially the same design are embodied in the P150-02. which sees the fuselage side turrets replaced with even more conventional mid upper and rear lower gun positions, though they are still remote controlled. Oddly, the cockpit has become more bulbous and in the rear fuselage above the rear turret is a rotating magazine for the gun.P 150-06 shows a significantly lengthened version of the same design and with a twin fin tail replacing the earlier designs single fin
