As a parallel design to the "Bestmann," a training aircraft with twin tail booms and side-by-side seating was developed, retaining the dimensions of the Bti 181. The 100/105 hp Hirth Hm 504 engine was planned. Since the "Bestmann" already demonstrated its outstanding qualities during testing, the second design was abandoned.
