The "Brigant" with poor flight characteristics had a particularly severe handicap: The pilot was located within a triangular wooden construction to which the wings were attached. Just before the head was a strut which not only impeded the view, but is also proved to be quite dangerous on hard landings.The Brigant was named "Skullsplitter" .
