In 1936, another variant of the Be.50 aircraft, the Be.52 Beta-Major, was built by Beneš-Mráz . It differed from its predecessor by the presence of an open two-seater cabin, some improvements in the aerodynamics of the fuselage and a more powerful engine - Walter Major 4 (130 hp).
The aircraft was produced in a single copy (civil registration OK-BED), which, like the Be.51, was used by the Luftwaffe as a trainer after the annexation of Czechoslovakia.
