Designed by Willi Drude,  Paul Schlak, Ernst Schalk in 1920
The handcrafted plywood wheels did not prove effective on the soft grass of the Rhön and the thefts of DRUDE were carried out on the runners, once the wheels were removed.
It should also be noted that the joystick was placed above the pilot's head and that with this unusual arrangement, the controls acted in the opposite way to the movement of the control column, which greatly complicated the task of Drude, whose first flights were on it! Triplane glider project started by three unemployed model aircraft manufacturers from Berlin, Paul SCHLAK and Willy DRUDE and Ernst SCHALK. The latter made the first drawings. As a result of modifications made to the project by Willy Drude, the triplane eventually became a biplane. The glider, piloted by DRUDE, made its first flights during the Rhön competition, at the Wasserkuppe, at the end of August 1920 (competition number 10), with several times damage to the lower wing.
