The plane was built in Romania at the company ICAR based on the RK 26.The first copy of the Acrobatic sport-training aircraft was released in 1935, two additional ones were assembled in 1940. These three vehicles were handed over to the use of the Air Force, where they were trained fighter pilots. In particular, the well-known Romanian ace Konstantin Kontakuzino flew the “Acrobatic” The operation of the aircraft took place almost without incident and until the end of the war two of them survived.
