The J17 was a further improvment to the early K16 small passenger airliner Designed by Otto Reuter and Pinkert in 1921. A new engine and less net weight are the main improvements to the K16 prototype. The J17 was designed without a metal tube construction to reduce the weight, used a corrugated Duralumin. . Probably due to the Allies restrictions, this design was abandoned.
