V2 230002 CP+UB First flight 31.12.1943. First flight by Hans Dieterle. Grip of oil cooler under the nose removed. Addition of small mirrors on the canopy. Crashed on 15/04 44 due to a engine fire. Death of the pilot. Werner Altrogge.
V3 230003 CP+UC, T9+ZH First flight 20.01.1944 Prototype of the reconnaissance variant Do-335 A-4. Registered T9-ZH at the time of commissioning within a reconnaissance unit.
V4 , M4 230004 CP+UD First flight 9.07.1944. Initially prototype of the two-seater coast next to Do-435. Pressurized fuselage, Jumo 222 engines of 2500 horsepower. Wing of large wingspan.. Finally completed for test the wing of the Do-335 B-4 and the B-8 enlarged to 18.4 meters of scope.
V5, M5 230005 CP+UE First flight February 1944. Armaments test an MK-103 gun of 30 mm pulling in the propeller axis and two MG-151s 15 mm installed above the motor and tie rod through the front propeller.
V6, M6 230006 CP+UF First flight 25.03.1944 Testing of components such as radio altimeter FuG 101. Later equipped with Jumo 213E to support the V7.

V9, M9 230009 CP+UI First flight 29.06.1944. Pre-production model of the Do-335 A-0. Reinforced landing gear. DB603 A-2 engines. First flight by Quenzler. Extensively tested at the Lufwaffe Center in Rechlin by Heinrich Beauvais. Crash over the French zone. The V9 reached 760 kmh
several times.
V10, M10 230010 CP+UK First flight 24.01.1945. Prototype of the nightfighter two-seater Do-335 A-6.  FuG-218 radar. Production of the version cancelled.
