Project 'B' was an improved and expanded version of Project 'A* able to carry five manned, or remotely-controlled, explosive delivery systems to distant target areas. These flying-bombs, whether piloted manually or equipped with radio-guidance, were to be armed with heavy 2.500 kg (5,510 lb) hollow- charge warheads, whose destructive effect was far greater than that of conventional bombs. Power for both 'A' and 'B' carrier components was to have been provided by either six 2,700 hp Daimler Benz DB 9-603 E or N piston engines, or by lour Daimler Benz DB 100-021 turboprops each of 6,800 hp shaft output plus additional thrust of 600 kg
