In 1929, an "aviation" section was created within the Workers' Association [Verbandes der Werktätigen] of Bremen (Germany), under the name "Sturmvogel-Flugverband der Wektätigen". The members of this section designed and built a glider, called "Hai". In 1932, construction was completed and the first tests could begin at the Bremen airfield. But in 1933, the section was disbanded, by order of the authorities, and it is unknown if the Hai really flew and what became of it.
