The group participated with this machine in the Rhön competition, at the Wasserkuppe, in 1925, but without being able to make many flights due to the lack of pilots. The young pilot HARTMANN from the Martens school will fly it in the last days of the competition, achieving an excellent flight of 4 minutes 45 seconds on August 26th. A bonus of DM 400 was reportedly awarded for good flights [Flugsport].
At the 1926 Rhön competition, the pilot HOPPE qualified the aircraft for the rest of the competition, with a 40-second flight (on 5 August). After that, there is no further mention of this glider.
Fuselage with hexagonal section. Long landing skid from the front of the fuselage, damped by three coil springs. Cantilever wing in three parts, with rounded salmon.
1.5m constant wing chord. The wing loading is given for a 70 kg pilot. Glider designed and built by the aviation group of the Ilmenau Technical School [Fluggruppe des Technikums Ilmenau] in 1925
